April Short Takes


Starting shortly, Cernak will be running slightly unusual contemporary life drawing classes from one of the studios at Redcliffe High School where she is Artist in Residence, and from her Warry Street Studio at Architect Kellermeir.

Susan Buret will be artist in residence at the Ragdale Foundation (Forest Lake, Illinois) in April and May.  While away Buret will also be attending Art Chicago and visiting contemporary art spaces in Chicago, New York and Shanghai.

Robyn Bauer is having a show of ceramic sculpture  - Homecoming - at the Dalby Regional Gallery opening 2 May. Robyn was born and bred in Dalby.

Lynda Black will be exhibiting new work - Observed Projections - at the Gympie Regional Gallery (39 Nash Street, Gympie, Q. Ph: 07 5481 0733) from 28 April to 16 May.

Anne Lord is one of more than forty artists exhibiting in the Mildura area as part of the Murray Darling Palimpsest Australian contemporary visual arts event from 3 - 19 April.

Pene Edwards and Glenda Charles are exhibiting at Charles Ginn Gallery (181 LATROBE TCE. PADDINGTON, Q. Ph:07 33694156) opening Sunday 5 April (3pm) until 26 April.
