Allyson Reynolds part of LondonAAF

Allyson Reynolds will be taking part in this year's London Affordable Art Fair as part of Rebecca Hossack Gallery across the weekend of 10-13 March.

Reynolds is currently working on a new solo exhibition which is due to open at Rebecca Hossack Gallery, London in January 2012.

Annie Jamieson highlights Coochiemudlo

 Annie Jamieson and David Allen Seibert will be showcasing their ongoing love and respect for the unique environment of Coochiemudlo Island where they live and work in the exhibition - Two Directions - One Island - which opens on Sunday 17 April (11am) and runs to 18 May at Redland Art Gallery (Corner of Bloomfield and Middle Streets, Cleveland, Qld. Ph: 07 3829 8899).

Nicola Moss shortlisted for Albany Art Prize

Nicola Moss' painting - No Return Address - is one of thirty finalists selected for the 2011 City of Albany Art Prize. The exhibition will be on view at the Vancouver Art Centre (85 Vancouver St, Albany, Western Australia) from 8 April to 1 May.
 
Nicola has also joined Anita Traverso Gallery (7 Albert St, Richmond) in Melbourne. A couple of hand cut paperworks can be seen in their current group exhibition.

Sam Creyton's 100 Pieces

 Sam Creyton's wonderful exhibition of 100 small constructed and reconstructed works in mixed media can be seen at the Cairns Regional Gallery until 20 March.

These works have a strong sense of design with an implied narrative that leaves space for interpretation.

Nick Olsen at London Affordable Art Fair

Nick Olsen will be exhibiting a group of new paintings with Rebecca Hossack Gallery at this year's London Affordable Art Fair which is held at Battersea Park from 10-13 March 2011.

Jason Haufe at Stephen McLaughlan Gallery

Jason Haufe's current exhibition - selected - runs at Stephen McLaughlan Gallery (Level 8, Room 16, Nicholas Building, 37 Swanston Street, Melbourne, Vic. Ph: 0407 317 323) until 5 March.

Using spray paint for the first time, these small works are private and subtle.

New Steve Smart work at Artistic License and RSASAG

Steve Smart is showing works in several group show this month which open on Sunday 6 March at 2am.

Distinctive Styles is at Artistic License Gallery & Studio (48 Melbourne St, North Adelaide, SA), and Up and Running can be found at Royal South Australian Society of Arts Gallery (Level 1, Institute Building, Cnr North Terrace and Kintore Avenue, Adelaide, SA) which is being held in conjunction with The Fringe and Adelaide Cup.

David Hinchliffe set for April NYC shows

David Hinchliffe has two exhibitions set for New York next month.

The first - Deluge - is in support of the Qld Disaster Relief Fund and opens at the Australian Consulate (150 East 42nd St) on 6 April.

It is then followed by a solo exhibition - New York Streets - at Michael Ingbar Gallery (568 Broadway - at Prince St, Soho) which opens on 8 April.

Judith Kentish shows Maatsuyker Island work on paper

 Judith Kentish is part of a Jill Barker curated exhibition called DRAWLING which opens at The Brisbane Institute of Art (41 Grafton Street, Windsor, Queensland) on Saturday 12 March, 4 -6 pm. 

Kentish will exhibit "from ideas of disturbance" a monumental drawing completed during her recent residency on Maatsuyker Island, a remote lighthouse island off the coast of Tasmania.  

New Mel Brigg show at Linton and Kay

 Mel Brigg's new solo exhibition - New Journeys - opens on Wednesday 16 March at Linton and Kay Fine Art Gallery (299 Railway Road (Cnr Nicholson Road), Subiaco, WA. Ph: 08 9388 3300)  and runs to Thursday 3 April 2011.

Kathryn Brimblecombe-Fox exhibition

 Kathryn Brimblecombe-Fox's solo exhibition VORTEX: Seeking Stillness At Its Core at Graydon Gallery has just closed but you can still see the paintings and works on paper on Kathryn's website.
